Chaos

chaos is the way,
not that it is the path
one must follow to live,
but it is an obstacle -
a constant in every day -
you may try to live without it
but it will find you;
it is the air
it is water,
its agents lurk in plain sight -
expect it
and you will thrive

Others

let go of troubles -
all this is temporary -
stay hungry for the clean air
of a free mind;
unburden yourself of that you cannot control;

if you must pick up the weight of caring,
let the cause be worthy of you
and more than you,
that you may be fulfilled
in doing work for others

Stillness

stillness
disguised as inactivity -
the brain always churns -
a moment to remember
life's past,
to let the present
wash over you,
to think on the future -
a nudge to move
forward
to keep chasing your dreams;
a day is never wasted
