an endangered resource,
limited
to the sands
within our hourglass,

with our first breath
we begin the march
toward an inevitable conclusion,

what color will you bring
to the sands
of your time

in the face of the impossible
hold on,

you are capable,
you have the skills,

the ability,
the heart,

if this matters,
hold on

The Well

I keep going
to the well
expecting to find
change,

I am met
with the same
acrid waters,

is my mistake
in taking 
the same path
to the same destination
and expecting to find
something new

should I be seeking
a different route,
looking in a different direction

what part of this equation 
do I control,

in that answer
lies the answer
