tracing random patterns

trained to understand
what is outside

there's still so much to say
and we're always losing time,
silence and sweat
don't seem like enough
to convey the depth of this feeling;
maybe you know
because you've observed,
as you do,
from the edge of the fray;
I'm too slow to speak,
I fear the revelation of the soul
in the written word,

causing you to work

this can't go on,

the twisting of mind and body -
worth your gift -
is it worth your time -

move your expectations,
