Sins Revealed
the rain came sideways in steady gray sheets, riding the furious gusts that tore at the windows and tossed about all that wasn't weighted down; the light show upon the black canvas flashed a dangerous disco, preceding the vicious cracks of thunder that fragmented the night, further darkening the sky; too many saw it as a cool storm, a hard rain, another day, to the those willing to open eyes, it was another sign of our deepening sin

what more can they take what are you willing to give it is not the demands that break us, but how we choose to accommodate them - how much are we willing to give - we have the power to back away, to cut our own path through the world, this doesn't define us if we don't allow it, they can't take everything
